It’s the people – you and I –who have the power. Zohran Mamdani’s win in NYC last night is clear demonstration of the power available, if we want it.
(And just to be clear, I am talking about 'the people' not support for the Establishment Democrat oligarchy.)
Every right, safety or careclaimed or reclaimed comes because the people utilise pain, desire, imagination and vision…. and choose to organise and mobilise from the grassroots up, and to sustain the difficult fight to materialise that vision.
People from all walks of life who rise with vision, courage and resilience in the face of attacks, smears, ‘sky is falling’ hysteria and authoritarianism backed by millions of Establishment dollars to protect privilege and racism … are an unstoppable force and are the hope in this global moment of mass desecration and cruelty.

to stand.
I’m calling you to join the movements within movements in which the people of Earth are remembering themselves as one body, in one diverse, interdependent, interconnected Web of Life.
Mamdani’s win is the result of 100K volunteers and millions organising, petitioning, donating, door-knocking, educating, providing mutual aid and more. What follows will also be based on people as a collective body, united in relational care.
Together, we can dismantle this old, disgusting, dominator system and build something New.
It’s YOU the world is waiting for. It’s YOU that keeps the Flame of Hope burning and enacting in real terms through the ages ... and in this moment, too.
