Introduction: Summons from Unfolding Genocide & Polycrisis
In 1517, Catholic theologian and monk Martin Luther nailed ninety-five theses to a church door in Wittenberg, Germany. It was a summons of conscience that shattered silence and exposed corruption in the Church, and demanded truth.
Today, I bring you my own "95 Theses for the Soul of Humanity", as inspired by Martin Luther.
This video is not a polished performance. I am reading from a page, speaking into my phone, because it’s the right moment to get it out there. This is my nail to the digital door of a sedated world.
Rejecting the Spirituality of Complicity
I can no longer abide a spirituality that compartmentalises, bypasses, capitulates before empire or escapes the Earth,
humanity and its species. The deeper the suffering on the Earth becomes, the less I can abide by the illusion of separation. We are all connected in the Web of Life.
The spiritual-religious-industrial complex that normalises children being burned alive while still proclaiming 'look away', ‘all is well’ or ‘we are one’….. a spirituality that does not protectand defend the sacred, the Earth and humanity …. is not spirituality at all.
And yet, in amongst all such normalisation, I have seen another, impassioned spirituality rising. One that is lived in dignity, courage, compassion and truth, defended not by dogma but by people of conscience who refuse to look away.
What I call for is a return to a spirituality deeply cognizant of, and embodied in, the Web of Life, fierce in its refusal of mass violence upon the body of the Earth and humanity, and courageous and steadfast in protection and defense of the vulnerable and voiceless.
We saw this in Martin Luther King Jr. and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who stood against empire in their time. And we see it now in the voices of Rev. Munther Isaac in Bethlehem, in Vandana Shiva defending the Earth, in Gabor Mate unmasking the trauma of empire, in Rosales Meza decolonising us and calling us back to Indigenous memory and Earth wisdom.
Context: the World we Live In
We live now in a time when hate-rhetoric is escalating and public shock, emotion and fear are manufactured, cultivated and weaponised. The chaos in our politics and enabling media sharpens the hunger for simple answers — and those answers too oftencome served as greater control and repression, attacks upon the vulnerable, distraction, or denial … but dressed up as safety, security, justice and freedom.
This is why clarity is urgent. This is why conscience must be louder than spectacle, fear and propaganda.

In our age of polycrisis, Gaza has not only been …. and continues to be … an ulcerous gaping wound, and the mirror
of empire’s psychopathy and dissociation.
Everything you need to know about what is diseased in our world and why, Gaza has shown you – and shows you, now, still....in microcosm. This is recognised by millions globally.
…. Because ... what is happening there is not only genocide. It is the collapse of international law. It is the banality of evil livestreamed for the world to see. It is thegreen light for ecocide and infanticide everywhere, racism, extreme dehumanisation and the annihilation of entire peoples and cultures. It is the tightening fist of fascism and the removal of all our rights, the rise of surveillance and AI as methodology for industrial-scale killing and control, and the deliberate erasure of memory and conscience itself. And nwo, imperial boomerang.
Gaza reveals that our global crises are not separate. Rather, they are one, interconnected body of violence, and our silence, normalisation and confused moral clarity the oxygen that feeds them, and that gives monsters and perpetrators a free pass.
And yet, even here, in the midst of deepening polycrisis, humanity is not powerless. Conscience is stirring, everywhere, in ways that empire is challenged to contain. Empire has the weapons, the money and the media, but it’s the people who have everything else.
These 95 Theses arose from my five-part series, "Who Bombs Hospitals and Inherits the Earth?", written during 2024 as Gaza burned and as the conscience and institutions of humanity were tested and found wanting, the abandonment of Gaza now an ulcerated, gaping planetary wound. That was the root.
These 95 Theses are the outcome of an even greater awakening into the nature of human beings, privilege, our values and belief systems amidst deafening silence during Gaza's livestreamed, blood destruction ….and my subsequent, heartsick break-up with the spiritual community as I knew it. Something ended and something began. Gaza and many other elements of polycrisis shattered the belief that structural change for the collective and its systems would come from the spiritual community.
Who I Am Calling In
All institutions, bodies, corporations and communities, including spiritual and religions ones, are being outed. Reckoning is here for us all...
And so, I am calling in a new audience for a humanity and spirituality that aligns with the challenges, consequences and rupture of these times…. not where mass murder or ecocide are interpreted and spiritualised as God’s Will, an illusion, an old timeline or karma.
Some of the most spiritual people I have encountered in the last two years in particular have nothing overtly to do with religious or spiritual movements, but embody the very best of the universal principles found across the world’s spiritual, ethical, Indigenous, human rights, and mystical traditions. They embody consciencerising from every walk of life, who live love and reverence for life, dignity, compassion, justice, truth, solidarity, courage, and feel a responsibility to future generations.
They are doctors, comedians, journalists, lawyers, grandmothers, nurses, workers, students, actors, teachers, healers, writers, farmers, rebels, and human rights activists.
I am calling you in if your being human is not complete unless all live in justice, in dignity, in love and compassion made real, in real terms.
I am calling you in if you do not measure awakening by visions of light or your ability, but by whether your awakening pains you, breaks your Heart open and translates into courage, community, mutual aid, solidarity and truth
for the collective.
I am calling you in if you are disillusioned by silence and exhausted or disillusioned by the endless self-work that neither acknowledges nor touches collective wounds and shadows.
You are still here, longing to connect with others who refuse silence.
You want to live an embodied, engaged spirituality that does not abandon the world, but defends it. To be part of a lineage of conscience — like my grandfathers who stood against fascism, like Luther who nailed his theses to the door.
You want to co-create a New Earth that is not fantasy, but grounded in the justice and mutual care that arise on the disruption and dismantling of the violent dominator paradigm wreaking havoc globally right now.
And sure, it can be overwhelming taking in the injustices and suffering, but the thing is, they are all connected. So whatever is your gift, your contribution involves pulling at one or two of the threads, clear that you are helping to unravel the whole fabric of empire and collusion with it.
To you, I say: this is where we meet. To you, I say: let’s stand together, collaborate. Let's unravel the whole fabric of empire, thread by thread, and any collusion with it .... and protect and build.
Assembly of the New Earth + Movement of Movements
The 95 Theses for the Soul of Humanity are therefore an ending and beginning.
They are organised under the Ten Codices of the Shambhalla Codex — the architecture of The Assembly of the New Earth.
The Assembly of the New Earth I am speaking of is not a fantasy but the result of the embodied work of rehumanisation, and the building of a world where justice and dignity are the ground of life and therefore peace is the outcome.
The Assembly is not a course. It is a gathering place, a sanctuary for those who refuse silence. It is one strand in the movement of movements now building across the Earth: people of conscience rising from every walk of life.
Together, we all refuse empire and its status quo violence,psychopathy and exploitation. Together, we rehumanise.
Together, we remember the sacred bonds and oneness in the Web of Life that empire cannot erase.

These 95 Theses are my nail on the digital door of our time. And now, the hammer is in our hands.
Rehumanise. Refuse. Remember. This is the sacred rebellion and this is the moment.
