The Turning: the Path Beyond Collapse

ACCOMPANYING ESSAY:

Since October 2023, I have been writing, teaching, grieving , raging, witnessing and posting as forms of witnessing, devotion and activism. I knew it was important to ‘just get the writing down’, ‘get the information out’ and that the purpose beyond the immediate ones would be made known to me at a later time.

I was simply responsible during these past 22 months to observe, feel, write, disseminate.

What I did not fully realize at the time was that each essay, newsletter, email, the recent Masterclass and Training, each Facebook or Instagram post or story – over 2,000 posts and 9,000 stories - were harbingers of a then-unknown body of teachings I now call the Ten Codices of the Shambhalla Codex. They form the pillars of The Assembly of the New Earth.

Let me explain…

The Assembly of the New Earth is not a utopian dream, nor an escape from this world…

The Assembly is a place for those who already know, who are awake, who are ready for fire, not just light … and are looking for a place to put their truths down.

The Assembly is a convergence of memory, grief, rage, intelligence and catalytic action, summoning those who are willing to stand at the edge of collapse and become agents of sacred regeneration and renewal.

The Assembly gather at a time of converging apocalypses: spiritual, ecological, ancestral and political. They don’t need convincing the world is in collapse and they seek full integrity and wholeness.

At the heart of the Assembly live The Ten Codices of the Shambhalla Codex and the Assembly navigate them along the Path of Dignified Return. The Codices are thresholds of descent, devotion, disruption and remembrance.

In this Assembly, 'Shambhalla' is neither elsewhere nor a myth to escape into. Rather, Shambhalla is a memory to awaken through fire, shadow, ancestral memory, moral clarity and Sacred Warriorship.

It is the Soul of the World before the wound, and the Code of the Earth we are called to return to. Shambhalla is the Grail we do not find, but become.

The Spiral Path of Dignified Return is the Quest for the Holy Grail, reimagined.

In Grail legend, the land is dying and has become a Wasteland because the king is wounded, and no one asks the right question. In the Wasteland, the rivers dry, the fields rot and the people despair because something sacred has been lost. The same as we see around us now.

Our question now is whether we will choose to restore what has been desecrated and become worthy of what was once sacred. Through this spiral journey, and Codex by Codex, the Wasteland is healed and Shambhalla reappears. The New Earth becomes because we remember. It does not magically pop out of thin air.

The Ten Codices chart a path through the ruins, back to the body, the Earth, the Living Library and the Soul of the World.

The Assembly of the New Earth speaks not to the ‘New Earth’ of New Age illusion and the spiritual industrial complex, where the wounded world is discarded and left to burn in favour of the spiritual fantasy that serves empire.

In the Assembly, it is the New Earth as reckoning. Here, grief is sacred, rage is holy, action is spiritual and the Earth is a living, breathing being whose memory pulses through our blood and bones.

Through the journey we undertake - Codex by Codex - Shambhalla reappears.

This essay gathers together all 10 Codices and offers a living map from collapse to coherence, from desecration to sacred return … as a living manuscript for the Turning we are currently living through.

If you’ve read my work or followed my posts and videos, or if you attended the Masterclass or Training from October 2023 onward, you will recognise yourself in what follows — as a Foundational Document, especially with respect to Codices 1–6.

If you were unable to, I will bring you up to speed.

The Ten Keys of the Shambhalla Codex form a thematic cohesion that takes the experiencer from Collapse → Resurrection:

  • Witnessing harm (Codex 1)
  • Unlearning falsehood (Codices 2–4)
  • Choosing action (Codex 5)
  • Disrupting systems (Codex 6)
  • Remembering Earth and future (Codices 7–10)

Overall, what has has emerged is not just a container, but a series of transmissions: a cohesive spiritual and moral architecture for those who refuse to look away, and who know that collapse is not the end but a beginning into the New …. if we can face ourselves and if we can transform ourselves and our systems.

Through what has emerged since October 2023, there are five interrelated ways of walking this moment as per
the Shambhalla Codex:

The Witness. The Disruptor. The Keeper. The Strategist. The Builder.

You have a place and you are not alone. You stand with millions.

This is not the end, but theTurning, if we want it and are willing to work for it.

The first 6 Codices were covered in varying ways and you can go back to original material, but can be summarised as follows:

CODEX 1: The Naming of the Wounded World

The world is not broken. It has been systematically and brutally violated by anti-Life forces. There is a difference.

What has been hidden must be named. What has been denied must be seen. This Codex initiates the journey and we begin by naming what is real: the violences, betrayals and unspoken truths. We name not to stay in the wound, but to end our collusion with the lies.

We name, too, the war on the Feminine and in her human and elemental forms: the body, the Mother, the land, the water. Her desecration is not abstract: she is raped, dismembered, monetised, starved, stripped of voice … and the Earth, its species and humanity bleed in kind.

This is the start of Sacred Warriorship and the Path of Return: the refusal to look away. Here, we see clearly so that we can begin the Return and navigate capably.

We go into systems of desecration: empire, genocide, spiritual bypass, fascism, capitalism, transhumanism, ecocide, etc. We cover spiritual betrayal and its historical alliances with oppression. We recognise that ‘naming’ corresponds to moral clarity.

CODEX 2: The Unbinding of Illusions

Not all that shines is light. Not all that soothes is truth.

Here we see through what kept us asleep. This Codex severs the glamour of falsehood and the illusions of superiority, pride, purity and escapism. The spiritual and political lies that bind.

Here, we unlearn what has entranced and hijacked us, even in the name of healing. Here, the veil is torn and the Soul begins to return to its clarity.

We move through deep dismantling of illusions: spiritual bypass, saviorism, "higher frequency" denialism, witnessing, neutrality and "Oneness" as avoidance. We receive particular tools to unbind ourselves from New Age and imperial myths. We look into Hereness vs Abandonment and how these relate to the Hero’s Journey, and we critique commodified "awakening" and collective numbing.

CODEX 3: The Descent into the Deep

The darkness is not the enemy. It is the doorway.

We do not rise by avoiding the descent. This Codex guides the sacred descent into our grief, outrage and our un-metabolised knowing. We do this not for collapse, but for clear-seeing, navigation and wholeness. Here, we retrieve what was buried. We meet what lives in the underworld and we reclaim and re-member our power.

We receive tools to feel deeply, enter moral injury to discern values and use grief and rage for fuel. We move into deep reckoning with personal andcollective shadow, ancestral grief and genocidal / ecocidal reality in Gaza and elsewhere on the planet. We recognised descent as a requirement for clarity and moral strength.

CODEX 4: Honouring of Rage and Grief

Your grief is not a weakness and your rage is not a sin.

Emotions are not problems: they are intelligent markers and medicines. This Codex blesses the storms of emotion. It makes sacred the tears, the roar, the fire, the despair, the hopelessness. It is here we claim all that we feel as holy so that we can be whole.

Here, we do not escape ourselves: we are remade by the intelligence lying within.

We are supported to ritualise grief and rage as sacred, intelligent, moral responses. We honour them as core emotional
intelligence, necessary as fuel.

Rage and grief are the cries of the Feminine when she is torn from her wholeness. They are the body’s refusal to normalise violation. They are the Earth’s own sob and scream, remembered in our blood and bones.

We see them as morally necessary and that are enacted upon in the form of ritual, boycott, grassroots organising, donation, protest, naming, healing, music, art. We see real-world victories as outcomes of honoured, listened-to, sacred rage and grief.

CODEX 5: The Invitation to Sacred Warriorship

This is not about being fearless. It is about being faithful.

We do not fight for empire: we stand for Life. This Codex invites the Soul to take its stand. We recognise we are not here to bypass and abandon, but to embody and engage. We become the refuge, the weapon, the action and the voice. This is not war as is known, but Sacred Warriorship.

Here is the invitation to action, truth, and clarity. Here we differentiate Sacred Warriorship from corrupted spiritual passivity. The personal call-to-action becomes deeply integrated and embodied.

CODEX 6: The Strategy of Disruption

Obedience is not the same as peace.

Silence is complicity. Empire is neither changed nor dismantled by solely working quietly behind the scenes. It is dismantled through disruption, and to disrupt is to remember that we are free, and that we have agency and power. This Codex reclaims the sacred art of interruption, where protest is prayer, and resistance and refusal are medicine and dignity. We stop the machine, not with hate, but with disengagement. Disruption becomes the methodology by which empire is both seen and dismantled.

We don’t disrupt for chaos. We disrupt to say: not in my name and because no right comes as a result of the benevolence of those in charge. We disrupt because life is sacred. Because the Feminine is still being violated: in her wombs, rivers,
forests, voice. Because no one should be punched in the face or raped, and told to respond with neutrality.

Disruption is how we detox from empire by naming and refusing its reach into our psyches, bodies, systems and souls.

We are colonised through histories, institutions, surveillance and spiritual bypass. Even our memories are annexed, our healing is healing outsourced and our humanity turned into data.

To speak of being colonized is to name how power, ideology, trauma, and economy shape our psyches, bodies, cultures, and spiritual lives…. And these must be disrupted.

We name, divest, resist. We disrupt the machine, and we disrupt ourselves through BDS, economic sabotage, mutual aid, organising, sacred refusal rituals.

What are you willing to disrupt to remain human? The war i snot out there. The war is within, in every place we go silent in the face of evil, pretend neutrality, look away or align with power instead of truth.

What follows now are Codices 7 through 10, the final arc....

These descriptions are longer than those above because although we may have touched upon them in the material of these last 24 months, they require a greater fleshing-out for the purposes of the Assembly.

CODEX 7: The Recognition of the Silenced Witness, Listening & the Restoration of Voice

The measure of our integrity is who we listen to. And who we refuse to ignore.

Those who were erased, and those who are being erased... are calling. This Codex honors the unseen, exiled, ignored, silenced. Theones empire taught us to disregard and not to hear. We actively turn toward the silenced and we listen with more than just our ears. Here, witness and listening become acts of reparation.

This Codex places Gaza at its centre as a moral mirror now recognised globally. But, it does not stop there: Congo, Sudan, Iraq, Yemen, Guatemala, the Indigenous, migrants and LGBTQ peoples in our own countries … all have been rendered invisible so that Empire may proceed.

This is a Codex of radical listening. It is not that these peoples have been silent; it’s that they have been silenced, because they’re not meant to matter whilst they are being violated. They are the wrong colour, faith, ancestry. They are meant to be used, erased or exploited in our dominator paradigm for privilege and profit.

We unmask these hierarchies of grief and silencing, and we see them in global supply chains built on resource theft and labour extraction, in consumer hypnosis, in spiritual bypass, in colonised time and memory.

We remember: the Zapatistas, who claim Indigenous governance; the Standing Rock Water Protectors, who rose for land and life; the Palestinian youth who turned social media into defiant archives of survival.

These are not isolated events. They are an interconnected, deeper uprising: Earth and her peoples refusing to disappear.
To recognise the silenced is to rehumanise the world and it is to resacralise life.

Here, we refuse to look away and we get to define what is real, true and intelligent. In doing so, we restore the Web of Life and come into reciprocity with it.

CODEX 8: The Return to Origin

We do not begin here. We are not ancestors yet. But weare being watched.

Our blood and bones remember, the Earth remembers and so do we. This Codex is not nostalgia, but a return to the memory seeded in the body, in the land and in the lineages that refused to die and still live. Here, we turn and face where we come from not to replicate the past, but in order to recover the thread that empire tried to strangle and cut. Not merely heritage, but moral lineage through reclamation and a remembering beyond erasure.

We are not here to transcend or bypass this world. Why come here if to transcend it? If we are here to re-member it, embody it, breathe it and live with it in reciprocity.

We access it through breath, stillness, somatic reorientation. Somatic colonisation radically disconnects us from the body: ouranimal, instinctual, sexual and ancestral intelligence.

We see this through the policing of Black, Brown andIndigenous bodies through surveillance, incarceration and moral scrutiny.

We see it through control of reproduction and desire, especially among women, queer and trans people… through religion, law or social taboo.

This Codex begins the return. It is a return that is not backwardsor upwards, but that is inward and into interbeing, soul, Earth-based presence, ancestral memory and coherence. We return to our humanity, to presence and presencing.

We descend into the underworld of the collective psyche and body, where pain has long been buried, and where the tremble in our voice is the beginning of truth.

Wholeness is our origin and our destination, and the new world is born not from escape or control, but from reconnection with body and Earth as home base. All ancestral cosmologies, pre-colonial wisdom and Indigenous ways of knowing call us into this remembrance and re-membering. They call us to remember cyclical time, ritual time, lunar rhythms.

They call us into the Oneness in Web of Life as a foundation for living in reciprocity and relationality.

CODEX 9: The Remembering of the Living Future

The future is not something we await. It is something thatremembers us. And it is calling now.

This is vision, re-enchantment and the reclaiming of the sacred imagination. The vision, prophecy and emergence of what must be. We do not predict the future: instead, we remember it. This Codex calls forth the living future, not as a fantasy, but through sacred imagination and frequency. It emerges from integrity, courage and the Path and the Soul reclaimed. We become the future’s ancestors.

The future is not a destination or departure from the Earth or humanity: it is a remembering of ourselves, the Earth and our union with the Web of Life. We are the heirs of the past and we are summoned by the future.

If Empire is collapsing by resistance, disruption, irrelevance, its own decay and violence, and transformation, what do we plant in its grave?

We hold the seed of sacred futurism and choose what grows in the ashes. We imagine gardens where children harvest food with soil under their fingernails. Where elders share songs at dusk and where time is shaped by the moon, not the market. Where governance feels like gathering in a circle.

We dream futures of relational governance, circular economies, abolitionist care and food forests. New stories with no genocide, no fascism, no AI dystopias ….only reverence, repair, reciprocity.

We neither bow to technology nor reject it. Instead, we wield it. Digital fire can connect and warm the Commons. We imagine networked bioregions, blockchain for seed sovereignty and tools that serve life. Technology is not empire’s child: like any technology, it becomes sacred through how we use it.

In the futures we remember, no one is born with a barcode and no soul is reduced to a scan or outsourced to the cloud. The Feminine rises unshamed as healer, dreamer, midwife, soil-tender. The future pulses through her and the Wasteland is healed.

We remember healing through connection, plants, prayer, community, not implants and mood detectors. Here, there is no transhumanism. Here, we are post-empire, and we remember what our ancestors dreamed forward and how they prayed for us. We embody the dream, and not just what they survived, and that we might be surviving now.

We root in the Earth and say: I am not data. I am sovereignand no digital system can sever the knowing.

CODEX 10: La Tierra – The Body of the Earth, the Memory of the World

The Earth is not our resource. She is our Mother. She is our Elder. She is our Teacher.

This is where all paths return. This final Codex is not an ending: it is a return and a beginning simultaneously. It is the body, the land, the Cosmos, the Living Matrix, the Web of Life. All as One. This is where the teachings become blood and breath. Where the Codex lives not in words, but in how we walk, see, sense, feel and be within the Web of Life in wholeness. Transcendence and Immanence. Masculine andFeminine. Heaven and Earth.

It is a return to the body of the Mother because the Earth remembers. She holds the memory of every burning, turning, creation, desecration. Every prayer, cry, jubilation. Every broken treaty and every unburied body. Every child crying for its mother under rubble.

She is not silent: we are deaf.

La Tierra does not forget: her memory is root, river, mountain, ash, body, blood, bone. Fish, fowl, flora, and fauna.

The Feminine, the Earth …is not a backdrop: She is the Book of Life, the Library and the Living Word.

The world’s Indigenous cosmologies (Pachamama, Dreaming, Turtle Island) know this. The land holds memory and the river holds story. The Earth is archive, elder and altar.

We see colonisation where nature is treated as dead matter or property instead of kin, teacher, elder. We see it in the theft and displacement of Indigenous peoples worldwide. In colonised food systems: monoculture, chemical dependence, loss of ancestral seed, memory and song.

To desecrate the Feminine is to desecrate Earth. To return to Earth is to restore Her and all Her species.

And we do return through sacred reciprocity, tending, reweaving, remembering.

We remember the Greater Remembrance:

We are One ~ All is One

Love is the Key ~ Love Conquers All

We remember, because the Earth remembers.

We bury the entire Shambhalla Codex in the soil of the living future, not to forget it, but so it may take root. So that every act of healing, protection, disruption, truth-telling and joy becomes a seed.

And this time, we vow:
We will not look away.
We will not forget.
We will not separate Earth from Spirit, Feminine from Future, Feminine from Masculine, Earth from Heaven Matter from Spirit and Love.

Final Movement: Sealing the Codex, Entering the Assembly

What began as writing, witnessing, grief regarding Gaza and transmission has revealed itself over 22 months as a Codex. A living body and architecture. A map of memory, descent and sacred return.

The Ten Codices of the Shambhalla Codex are not ideas. Rather, they are clarifiers and initiations. They are the bones and breath of a new spiritual-political architecture, and they have summoned this Assembly.

The Assembly is not utopia: it is where we reckon with power, with the past, with complicity and with longing. It is where we remember how to walk again with Soul as much as strategy.

The Assembly of the New Earth …. Shambhalla … these are not dreams of escape. They are, instead, vows to remain, see clearly and to live together in the firelight of truth and the long dusk and collapse of empire.

They are about holding each other through apocalypse and resurrection that we might learn to re-weave the sacred into matter. That we might reclaim ourselves, Earth, memory, justice and the Feminine as central to all life.

We began this in collapse and we end it in coherence. We began it in disorientation, and we return to rhythm and reciprocity. We began it with witnessing, and now we build.

Shambhalla is thus no longer a myth. It is a memory awakening in your body, a Code you carry, a future seeded through you, as you and all life.

So take your place, be it as Witness, Disruptor, Keeper, Strategist, Builder or a combination thereof.

You are not alone and you never were.

This is not the end….

Since October 2023, this has been our Turning. A Terrible Gift. An Awakening into empire's brutality.

And we owe it… …to those whose lives have been taken, and to those whose suffering continues now.

We owe it to them to remember, to honour and to embody their sacrifice so it is not lost to us — that we may carry it, and them, forward in their name and in service to the Web of Life, that a New Earth may be created through us.

Let this be a beginning.

Their beginning. Your Beginning. Our Beginning.
